Today we are featuring the beautiful Mr & Mrs Williams on their wedding day.
It’s been a long while since I’ve updated my blog but I’m back with a reignited passion for wedding fashion after a well deserved break.
We finally did it. We got married on 04.07.14 <3 I'm so grateful and delighted to be Mrs Huggins.
I will be doing a post on all my recommended suppliers in the next few weeks. This will be dedicated to the suppliers who made my wedding the amazing event it was.
I will also be sharing a few intimate shots from our big day soon… can't wait for you all to see.
For now, enjoy all my wedding style faves of the summer.

Hi guys and dolls,
It’s been way too long and I apologise for my hiatus! Life and its many stresses has been keeping me busy!!
I am still viewing wedding venues in Kent and Surrey. I am now down to two strong contenders and have a viewing booked for mid – November. I am so happy that I created my wedding checklist months ago! (You can find this in an earlier post!)
I am yet to try on a gown yet but have decided to start looking in December (after I have started the mandatory wedding diet! I may do a Kim Kardashian and try Atkins. I’ll definitely be doing pilates and aerobics).
As you know, I love everything to do with weddings and planning. Take a look at my style faves for this week.
Have a fab day ♥
Whenever I think of Vera Wang, I think of pure elegance, fashion, glamour and of course Sex And The City. When Carrie Bradshaw popped on my cinema screen wearing that dress for the Vogue shoot in the SATC movie… Girls everywhere had a new dress crush. Myself included!
Vera Wang’s gowns have appeared in a number of popular sitcoms and movies; Sex And The City (the series), Bride Wars, Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s (both Khloe and Kimmy walked down the aisle in Vera Wang) and The West Wing to name a few. Now Vera Wang is back with the Spring 2013 collection, doing what she does best; producing gowns that ooze glamour and elegance.
I love the reds, corals and burgundy’s. What a beautiful show of defiance to such a dull and gloomy season we’ve had. I would love to think I’d be daring enough to wear a coloured gown to my own wedding (personally I think I would), but I’m a sucker for a White or Ivory gown. The Classics collection has some truly gorgeous pieces.
Here’s some more of the other collections for you to enjoy!

It’s been a little while since I did any reviews on my blog. I’ve been a little busy with every day life and working. I promise to try harder to post regularly though. Especially now that I’ve narrowed down my venue choices!! Think I may have actually made up my mind. More on this later. Today’s post is quite delayed but better late than never!
Just before Christmas I went bridal gown shopping with a colleague who is getting married later this year. I was very excited when my colleague asked for my help in finding a bridal store that sells stylish plus-sized gowns. It was a little tricky as a lot of the good ones- i.e the ones that actually have stylish gowns that flatter the body- are based outside London.
After a lot of researching (and googling) I found Heavenly Bodies, based in Catford. I booked an appointment and myself, the bride to be and another colleague went down there on a Saturday.
The Owner was so lovely. She was really patient an explained how the day would go. She first asked my colleague to try on the 6 or 7 shapes that she believed would flatter a plus sized bride and then got my Colleague to narrow these down to the shapes she liked best. The shapes included ‘Fishtail’, ‘Halter neck’ and ‘Heart shaped bust’. Obviously she was also on hand to give her advice regarding which styles looked best.
The Bridal shop was so lovely! Unfortunately we were not allowed to take any pictures so I respected this and did not take any. We really had a great girly day! My only suggestion would be that there should be light refreshments on offer if possible. Usually at Bridal shops you hear about the Bride getting a glass of bucks fizz and some nibbles. However, I think a glass of OJ is not too much to ask. My colleague and I (the observers) were thirsty after 3 hours of bridal gown viewing. The experience was still amazing though! I would definitely recommend this bridal shop to any curvy bride. My colleague left feeling confident and absolutely delighted with her ‘Wow’ dress.
I have added some pictures from the Heavenly Bodies website below. You can also view their bridal collection
Happy planning! <3
