This weekend saw the union of Prince Guillaume (the Grand Duke to be) and Belgian Countess Stephanie de Lannoy.

The Countess wore a gown by Ellie Saab and looked the epitome of a European Princess- glowing skin, shiny full locks and lots of luxurious lace.

The brides 4 metre (13 feet) train took up the majority of the aisle!

Here’s a picture of our English rose, Kate Middleton. In my opinion, Kate’s dress Wins this Royal Bridal Gown war. The neckline on Kate’s dress is as risqué as a Royal could have managed without being inappropriate and is ultimately very feminine. The sleeves are delicate and the waist contours Kate’s athletic physique perfectly.

I can honestly say that I have officially got wedding fever! If I could get married tomorrow, I would. Hurry up 2014!!

Here is a small collection of images that I believe will inspire you all. Enjoy!

This is a picture of gorgeous bride Hauwa (far left), on her wedding day. Hauwa is Muslim so this outfit was worn for the Nikkai section of her wedding day.
I love the intricate detailing on her head dress and the flower embellishment on the dress. Absolutely stunning!

Blake Lively’s stunning and unusual engagement ring made me smile last week. It’s very girly and princess like. I think Ryan knows his new wife’s personality well and it’s obvious a lot of work went into designing this ring. The diamond itself is a light pink oval cut. It’s a bold move that paid off.

I love the flower arrangement in this photo. Everything looks so delicate and soft. Some flower arrangements can look harsh but I think this is simple but stunning enough to avoid being plain.

I absolutely love this veil. This picture is just gorgeous! I love the lace detail!

This past week has seen the weddings of Celeb beauties Rochelle Wiseman and Natalie Portman.

Both brides looked absolutely stunning! Aside from that, both look absolutely delighted. Congratulations to both!

Rochelle’s gown is a fishtail style by Vera Wang. This is perfect for highlighting curves and accentuating long legs. The shape really complements her figure and I love the ruffles at the bottom. So pretty!!

Natalie’s isn’t a typical bride style of dress but suits her boho/hippie style. The dress is a mid-calf, A-line style cut by Rodarte. The sleeves are see-through.

Verdict: wins for both. You know you have the right gown when you look happy, relaxed and confident in all your photos.

This week I’m looking at pictures of friends weddings and trying to get inspired. I didn’t even need to try after looking through photos of my colleague and friend, Kate’s wedding. Kate planned her wedding in just 6 months! Amazing!

I wanted to share these photos with you so that you can be inspired by her theme, her gown and her amazing cake!! Made especially for Kate by her lovely Grandma <3

What a dramatic gown! And cake!! I love the rustic theme of the wedding. Kate’s wedding was held during the Christmas period so the candles and flowers created a very cosy, intimate setting.

P.s if you think your wedding pics can inspire others, be sure to send them to me @

Two of the most important decisions in the whole wedding planning process are choosing the right photographer and the right videographer to capture eternal memories of your big day. Now that I’m in the early stages of planning, I have both my eyes and my ears open for recommendations/referrals! Photography by Melo NS In my first post I talked about our engagement party being like a mini-wedding. So many things happened that day- so many memories and events- that it was literally a whirlwind of a day. One of our friends captured our first dance and I’m so grateful because watching the film back allowed me to- virtually, at least- go back in time and relive that moment. I want to remember our wedding day for the rest of my life and I want to be able to share our memories with our kids one day. I came across this wedding video this week- Dan and Milly Smithard. Milly and I went to Sixth form together and actually got engaged around the same time. I’m so impressed that they were able to plan such a beautiful wedding in just a year. The video was shot by photographer/videographer Melo Ns. His brand is called Media Evolution. Enjoy and be inspired Melo NS’s Facebook page can be found here: More pictures from the big day; taken by Melo NS.
