An Enchanting Great Gatsby Theme Wedding

STB is back with yet another glamorous and enchanting wedding to really inspire you whether you’re in the planning phase, post wedding phase or just general wedding/bridal fashion loving phase! This particular bride’s Gatsby theme wedding features some of STB’s favourite designers: Vera Wang, Maggie Sottero and Badgley Mischka!

Danielle DeGeest married the man of her dreams, Cody Feagins on 8th August 2015 in an extravagant Great Gatsby themed wedding. Danielle and her bridal party were dressed head to toe in designer attire. Danielle wore a beautiful dress by designer Maggie Sottero, a STB fave who we’ve featured previously. The Proposal

I met Cody on Thanksgiving of my senior year of high school in 2002. He went to a neighboring high school but our paths had never crossed. We talked and he called numerous times over the next few weeks trying to get me to hang out with him. I finally gave in and we spent every single day together after that until his National Guard unit was deployed in April of 2003.

We spent the next year writing letters back and forth while I focused on my first year of college and he spent his duty supporting his country. He returned in 2004. We had been together for 12 years on the dot when Cody proposed on December 10, 2014.

I am not an easy person to surprise and he thought that was the one day he wouldn’t do it for sure! So that is when he did and I definitely was surprised!

Cody is one of the most loyal, hardworking men that I have ever met other than my father. To say Cody lives up to the standard my dad set in my eyes is a lot. I can’t wait to start this new chapter with him.

The elaborate mansion was built in 1925-1927 and was the perfect setting for my Great Gatsby themed wedding!

Write everything down and stay organized. Don’t stress too much over the tiny details because if something goes wrong you will probably be the only one to notice!
